Measuring outcomes
Our project will be evaluated at every stage and will include data on:
- Key project activities
- Project beneficiaries broken down by BME groups, age, family status, mothers etc.
We will measure:
- Baseline information regarding low self confidence and self belief, employment status, relationship difficulties, money management abilities, collected at the start of contact
- Ongoing change, monitored through contact
- Lasting change, collected in the weeks and months after final contact.
Tools used to measure change will include:
- Skills and knowledge self assessment
- Emotional well being questionnaire (Rosenberg scale)
- Attitudes to money questionnaire
- Review meetings at regular intervals after final contact
- Individual mentor feedback using forms and meetings.
Learning:
- What does and does not work
- Importance of activities
- Other developments for the organisation (ie new partnerships, staff and strategies)
- Future plans for Startup.
