Measuring outcomes

Our project will be evaluated at every stage and will include data on:

  • Key project activities
  • Project beneficiaries broken down by BME groups, age, family status, mothers etc.

We will measure:

  • Baseline information regarding low self confidence and self belief, employment status, relationship difficulties, money management abilities, collected at the start of contact
  • Ongoing change, monitored through contact
  • Lasting change, collected in the weeks and months after final contact.

Tools used to measure change will include:

  • Skills and knowledge self assessment
  • Emotional well being questionnaire (Rosenberg scale)
  • Attitudes to money questionnaire
  • Review meetings at regular intervals after final contact
  • Individual mentor feedback using forms and meetings.

Learning:

  • What does and does not work
  • Importance of activities
  • Other developments for the organisation (ie new partnerships, staff and strategies)
  • Future plans for Startup.
