Startup visited Clean Break to discuss working together to offer holistic services to women offenders on our Startupnow for Women project
Startup was invited to attend a meeting where charitable trusts joined forces to become the Corston Funders Coalition. The Coalition has been created in the wake of the publication of the Corston Report on women in the criminal justice system.
Juliet was invited by Baroness D’Souza to attend House of Lords discussion panel on The Threat to the Voluntary Sector’s Role in the Rehabilitation of Offenders. The purpose was to examine with the assistance of five panellists, current Government policies on offender management and rehabilitation and to put forward alternatives.
Startup visited The Passage to discuss how we might enhance the services they provide to the homeless in the area of education, training and employment by helping those with ideas to start their own businesses.
The Passage is a Christian organisation. Its mission is to provide resources which encourage, inspire, and challenge homeless people to transform their lives.
